Local Client Reveal: Legacy Project: Living Room

I am so excited to be sharing with you this beautiful living room I had the pleasure of designing for a sweet local client of mine.  We kept a pretty cool palette of blues, greens and grays, adding some natural wood tones and brass accents to warm up the space.  I love how those little additions add so much charecture to the room.

Be sure to scroll down to see the details of the space!
Also I have linked some of my favorite items for you to be able to shop!

I have had my eye on this gorgeous mirro for quite some time.  I knew instantly this large vaulted wall needed this statement piece.  This mirror is pretty unique, it has a smoked, antiqued glass effect.  That paired with the gold leaf frame creates such a visual masterpiece.

Gallery walls have quickly become a specialy of mine.  Almost every client I work with requests one in their spaces.  This time I decided a uniform approach would make the best statement in the room.  The bold white mattes withe the skinnier frame create the perfect back drop for their family pictures.

The accent chairs in the room are a beautiful and subtle addition to the space.  The uniform chairs and pillows create texture and personality with out competing with the other bold pieces in the room.

What brought the room together was the styling.  I chose white's, gold's, grays and a few needed pops of teals and greens creating a welcoming, soothing palette.  This is the first impresion guests see in their home.  Also, lighting was in dyer need due to the face that this room has no over head lighting.  Now my clients can kick back, relax and enjoy a nice book or conversation.

Most items to style were purchased from
Homegoods, Tuesday Morning, Rodworks and Hobby Lobby

I hope you enjoyed this design tour!  It was such a pleasure to create.
