A Little Paint...

... Sure Goes A Long Way!
 I had the opportunity to revisit one of my old clients, Mrs. G, and help her pick out her paint color for her house.  See This Post for the before's.  That is one good thing about design... You can do little by little to save up for what you want.  I LOVE the soothing taupe green we picked out, especially against the camel colored sofa's and the black and white accents.  It seems like the perfect compliment for the color scheme.  She loves the outcome too, which in my book is all that matters!

I also suggested that we paint her "cube" closet the same taupe color, and we love how it just pops now!  Before it just disappeared into the white wall.  It's so crazy what a little bit of paint can do!
I also painted her pantry door for her.  We went with a little more intense sagey green color for it, and we are so glad that we did.  Since she likes having her walls white in her kitchen it gives the perfect amount of color in the room...

Refinished Table {Before & After}

Before
 After

Boy oh boy I had such a fun time doing this project!  It was surprisingly easy!  I did this one for my own home.  I wanted to brighten up my kitchen nook, and the table I had was tall and dark, and just made the kitchen too dark since I hve black cabinets.  Anyway... I knew I wanted to do aqua.  My husband was a little weary, but said he trusted me. :)  And here is the result!  I am obsessed with it!
And yes, I can refinish any of your furniture pieces for you.  The hourly rate is the same, $25 an hour... then  I'd buy the products, and you'll reimburse me.  Thought I'd let everyone know!
